Tomoko Aran – Fuyu-Kukan / Floating Space 2026 (Japan 45rpm Vinyl 2LP)

Tomoko Aran’s iconic 1983 album Fuyu Kukan (Floating Space) returns in a special 2026 analog edition as Fuyu Kukan (+1), presented on two 180g heavyweight vinyl records at 45 RPM.

Widely regarded as a landmark of Japanese City Pop, the album includes fan favorites such as “Body To Body,” “I’m In Love,” and “Midnight Pretenders,” the latter of which gained renewed worldwide attention after being sampled in The Weeknd’s hit song “Out of Time.”

This 2026 edition also includes “Ji-Re-N-Ma (25-sai no Yuuutsu),” a track that was originally intended for the 1983 album sequence but could not be cut to vinyl at the time because of the recording length and groove limitations. Its inclusion makes this the first analog release of the album in this expanded configuration.
