Pink Floyd – The Division Bell (180g Vinyl 2LP)

$62.00

Pink Floyd Records continues the reintroduction of Pink Floyd’s legendary catalogue on vinyl for the first time in over two decades with a 180g 2LP reissue of 1994’s The Division Bell, the long awaited follow-up to 1987’s A Momentary Lapse of Reason, second sans Roger Waters and the band’s last studio album for 20 years.

The multi-million selling Division Bell found David Gilmour and the trio configuration of the band on a creative roll, with Richard Wright contributing to some of the writing and Gilmour forging a new writing partnership with his wife, the novelist Polly SamsonBob Ezrin and Gilmour co-produced the album, with soaring orchestral arrangements by the late Michael Kamen. Home to the Grammy Award winning track “Marooned” and latter day classic “High Hopes,” The Division Bell debuted at No. 1 in the UK and in the US, lingering at the top of the US charts for 4 weeks; it also went to No. 1 in eight other countries and, to date, has reached total album sales of over 12 million.

Pink Floyd featuring Syd Barrett, Roger Waters, Rick Wright, and Nick Mason first broke onto the music scene in 1967 with the hit single “Arnold Layne.” Despite the departure of Syd Barrett, the group, which soon recruited David Gilmour, recorded some of the most innovative and ground breaking records of their era, culminating in 1973 with one of the biggest-selling albums of all time, The Dark Side Of The Moon. There followed numerous global number-one albums, including The WallAnimalsWish You Were HereThe Final Cut and 2014’s finale, The Endless River.
