John Mayer followed up his Grammy-winning 2001 debut Room for Squares and hit single “Your Body Is a Wonderland” with the Jack Joseph Puig-produced Heavier Things in 2003. Debuting at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 chart, Heavier Things is a more sophisticated record than its predecessor in every way with deeper songwriting and ambitious pop-jazz arrangements.
